Goa is one place that can pretty much cover anyone’s needs. Be it a honeymoon trip, a family one or one with friends. There’s always so much to do. If you’re looking forward to a great trip to Goa, then look no further. With so many things to do and so many places to be, you will be spoilt for choice. So hop aboard as we explore Goa like never before, with an all-inclusive guide on things to do in Goa.

5. Hang out at some historical sites

It goes without saying that Goa was never meant to be a place that lacks excitement. And to prove just that, Goa is punctuated with beautiful centuries-old Indo-Portuguese houses, many of them painstakingly restored and maintained.

In fact, you can even get cosy in a converted heritage hotel or live with the host family at a heritage

There are plenty of heritage houses in Siolim, Assagao, Saligao, Panjim and Loutolim. Be sure to not miss out on Fontinhas in Panjim.

4. Head over to an amusement park in Goa

Despite its small size, Goa has a handful of amusements parks that make for a perfect trip to Goa.

Spread across 35,000 sq ft, Froggyland Water World in Nuvem is currently the largest amusement park in Goa, with a wave pool, rain dance, bumper boats, zorbing, beach volleyball and more.

Splashdown waterpark in Arpora is also a great choice and the recently opened indoor Snow Park in Baga makes for some great memory.

3. Shop at Goa’s malls

A trip to Goa is incomplete without some much-needed shopping. Be it toys for kids or souvenirs for friends and family back home. Head into Caculo Mall in Panjim or the newly opened Mall De Goa in Porvorim. Both guaranteed to leave you plenty of choice for a long shopping session. Mall De Goa also has plenty of games and rides on the top floor. So you can enjoy some peace of mind as you shop through all the different stores in the massive mall.

2. Birdwatch on your trip to Goa

On the western tip of the island of Chorao along River Mandovi, mangrove swamps cover this bird-watchers’ paradise aptly named after India’s best-known ornithologist – Salim Ali.

This is Goa’s only bird sanctuary. A variety of local and migratory birds can be found on this island. If you’re carrying a DSLR then you can get some very neat and close shots of the birds from the Mandovi river. A boat ride in Chorao is one of the best ways to get some very pretty shots of the wildlife here.
