Standing tall and proud, The fort of Reis Magos is located beside the banks of River Mandovi and oversees the taluka of Bardez. It was used as a residence for viceroys and later converted to a fortress. In the 90s, it was subsequently abandoned by the military and served as a prison until recently. The Govt. of Goa had then restored the structure and opened it to the public in 2012. The view of the sea from the fort is one of the most beautiful sights you can ever get.
