Standing tall and proud, The fort of Reis Magos is located beside the banks of River Mandovi and oversees the taluka of Bardez. It was used as a residence for viceroys and later converted to a fortress. In the 90s, it was subsequently abandoned by the military and served as a prison until recently. The Govt. of Goa had then restored the structure and opened it to the public in 2012.
