Consider that dot. That’s here. Thats home. That’s us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, every human who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering. The work product of 4 billion years of evolution. All on one pale blue dot.
It’s a shame most of us know next to nothing about the lonely yet curious vastness of space. The final frontier. It’s time to make Han Solo proud this month ; )

– COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS
The exact scale of the universe can be a very unimaginable concept for most of us petty mortals. A a concept so vast our standard units of meters and kilometers are simply not good enough.
Cosmic Consciousness is a series of frames that together form the night sky at a realistic scale. The frames are arranged to depict light years as distance. This installation acts as a tool where people may familiarize themselves with constellations and the stars at close quarters and yet perceive the grand nature of space and its distances.
