5. Fort Aguada

The laid back Fort Aguada in North Goa seems to have found a special place in Bollywood. Back in the day when Dhoom was released. The primary notion of Goa from your average Indians perspective was the usual sleep all day and party all night mentality. Fort Aguada is a great place to visit with your kids and can be a great starting point to get them into history.

4. Science Centre Panjim

It would be a shame to visit Miramar without finding yourself at Goas only science center that’s right next door. There’s plenty of fun experiments to try out. However, the real reason you want to be there at this time is to check out their fabulous 3D show. Be sure to get your kids along for the trip.

3. Photography in Goa : Bondava Lake

Looking for an isolated lake to just chill out with your camera? Then this lake in Goa is for you. However, it feels like a mini wildlife sanctuary.

There is a lush green cover all around where many birds and other animals live. Most lakes in Goa are pretty popular, but not Bondava. You can expect almost complete silence alongside the occasional chirping of birds.

2. Heritage sites at Old Goa

We now head over to Old Goa. After all, it’s the home of some of the Oldest standing structures in the state.

Today, Old Goa is a World Heritage site. There is a small village around the huge churches and convents. Some of these are still in active use, and others have become museums. The Basilica of Bom Jesus, Sé Cathedral and the Museum of Christian Art are some of the places you can bear witness to during your time here.
