Don’t give a second thought if you love fresh air. Located at next to a lovely stream, Blue Planet is known for its elaborate spread of healthy vegan food. A surprising fact is that Blue Planet is a place to indulge in exotic dishes such as muesli or taste delicious desserts such as vegan carrot and coconut cake.

Tucked away in Panjim’s Latin Quarter is this cosy, two floor hide-out that has become the favourite hang-out for freelancers and solo travellers. The ground floor space is light-filled and welcoming but you can head upstairs for a cosier ambience with dim lights. This is a great stop for a cold coffee, a brownie and a long chat with your best buddy.  The artwork outside is a reason to visit this place in its own right.

This little art cafe is buried in the heart of Majorda, deep inside a nineteenth century Portuguese mansion.

Cherry Tomato is regarded as one of the best Cafes in South Goa with tables in the little garden at the back, surrounded by works of art on display. Order the Boozy Banana shake as a starter and the Cubano pulled pork sandwich as a follow-up. You’ll need a short nap after to recover from your tasty meal!

Natti’s provides the healthiest food in town as well as making it impossible to eat something without Instagramming it first. You will find 100% organic as well as vegan food on the menu, thus making it a paradise for every vegan and health freak out there. Even if you aren’t an all-time healthy food lover, the open air cafe is so pretty that it’s worth visiting once in awhile with your besties.

Located in a quiet part of Miramar, Pizza Mia offers a very exquisite experience. One of the best things ever, if you can’t pick one pizza out of all the others (you probably won’t be able to), is that you can go half-sies. It is quite literally, the best of both worlds.

They’ve got different sizes too, of course. If you’re completely lost, just talk to your waiter or the owner herself, she’s always more than happy to make recommendations.

It’s the perfect place to go for a breezy catch-up with friends or a comforting break after a hectic week. You can even drop in for a late Sunday breakfast here with waffles, pancakes and even Eggs Benedict to order.

Right on the Bambolim highway, just a stone’s throw from the Goa Dental College, is the Thirsty Bear. It’s a great stop for a waffle-with-ice-cream brunch, a luscious chocolate milk shake or a quick thin crust pizza.

But it is more the kind of place where you stop when you’re in a bit of a rush but still want a tasty sit-down breakfast to fuel you up for a busy day.

Cafe basil offers a wide variety of burgers, barbecues, shakes and nachos that are bound to leave you speechless. Basil is owned by two brothers who are more than happy to customise your orders wherever possible. Their Ashton ukulele and guitar absolutely rad.
